Privacy Policy

Tsukuru (ai-anime-creator.com) makes anime art, comics, VTuber avatars and illustrations with AI, from a description you type or a picture you upload. Below is everything the site handles, the reason for each item, who else gets to see it and how long it stays. "We" and "us" mean the people who run ai-anime-creator.com.

In short

• Your upload and your text are used for one thing: making the picture you asked for. We don't sell them, post them or train AI models on them.
• We keep uploads only as long as the service needs them, and we remove yours whenever you ask.
• To share the free images out fairly, we store a scrambled (hashed) copy of your IP address plus a device identifier, never the raw address.

• There are no accounts. The only time we ask for your email address is the optional waitlist for a feature that isn't ready yet.

What you give us

Your pictures and words. The image you upload to a generator (your browser shrinks and compresses it first), the style options you click and any description or extra instructions you type.

Waitlist email. Some tools or options on the site aren't ready yet. If you pick one, a form offers to tell you when it works. If you fill it in, we store your email address, the page and the option you picked, the answer you chose to "What do you need it for?", and a salted, one-way hash of your IP address that helps us spot automated spam. We use it only to send you that one notice: we don't verify the address, add it to a newsletter or share it.

Messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can reply.

What the site records by itself

• Free-image counter. A salted hash of your IP address, a device identifier your browser works out from its own settings, and the number of free images you have used. The device identifier also sits in your browser's local storage.
• Creation records. Which tool and style ran, when, whether it succeeded, and links to your upload and to the finished image.
• Request logs. As with any website, the host handles your IP address, browser type and requested pages so it can serve the site and fend off attacks.

• Visit statistics. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and keeps no information that identifies you. We see totals such as page views, countries and referring sites.

Cookies and local storage

Visitors get no cookies from us. Your browser's local storage keeps the device identifier above and your light or dark theme choice. Clearing your site data removes both.

Who else handles your data

We use a few outside services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs for the job below:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores uploaded images; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
• AI image model providers — receive your upload, text and chosen style, run the model that draws your image, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.

• Plausible Analytics — counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

We also disclose information when the law requires it, or when that is needed to stop fraud or protect people's safety. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Uploads: held in our storage only to run the service; email us and we delete yours.
• Finished images: the AI provider that drew them keeps them for a limited time so you can download them, then removes them. Save the ones you want.
• Free-image counter: for as long as we offer free images; it holds no raw IP address.

• Waitlist entries: until we've sent the notice for that feature, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Your choices

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, fix it, or delete it, uploads included. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), the law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Tsukuru is not meant for anyone under 18, and pictures of real people under 18 must not be uploaded. If we find one, we delete it.

Anyone younger shouldn't join the waitlist either; if we learn that a child has, we delete the entry.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. We check that an upload really is an image before storing it, and each file gets a long random address that is not listed anywhere. Whoever holds that address can open the file, so don't pass your result links around if the picture is private.

Where data is processed

Our host and AI providers run servers in several countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change affects how your photos are used, we will say so on the site before it takes effect.
